News messages

Input

News messages can be inputted via the News tab, the API (API - POST news) or the TheRadioHub News application on Android.

Display options

When creating a news item, a publish date and optional end date can be set. This way you can make sure news is published at the very right moment, and the end date provides a possibility to automatically remove news when it is getting too old. Also, news can be published to multiple radio stations at the same time (if the current user has rights to do news on other stations).

Outputs

For each news message, outputs can be selected. Each input will get its own preview, so you can edit texts if necessary: you might want another text for Twitter (140 characters max) and Facebook. To use social outputs, these have to be configured in Settings -> Outputs.
