Registration
To register your radiostation if you have not done so yet, please visit our registration page (http://theradiohub.com/register). Registration is fairly easy and does not require many steps. After registration, log in at our Manage panel (http://manage.theradiohub.com/) and log in with your e-mail adress and password.
First settings
To start using The Radio Hub, a few first settings are needed. In the scheme underneath you will find the settings needed for a basic set-up, categorized by page as they are found in the Manage panel.
Page | Configuration |
---|---|
Web | Please configure your weather unit (C/F), application language and shown elements. Also, please upload your app logo. Afterwards, you can visit your web-app using the 'Link to web-app' on this page. You will notice the web app being empty as there is no now playing information yet. |
Inputs | At the input page, settings are divided into three sections: Software, Stream and Social. First, please configure your broadcast software settings for The Radio Hub to receive playout information. For more on this matter, please review the corresponding section in the manual. Then, configure your stream URL. You can use either an MP4 codec such as AAC or HE-AAC, but standard mp3 formats are also supported. When in doubt about your format or quality, please enter and save the stream URL, then test for yourself by navigating to the web-app and pressing the play button. To conclude the input configuration, please enter your social page names and handlers if you have them. To get content from Twitter you need to configure an app to get the right keys. You will find more information about this in the Social section. |
Outputs | To output information from The Radio Hub to something other then the web-app, please review the Outputs page. Here, settings are found to output all possible data (DAB cards, Dynamic Labels, Journaline and Social networks) to your content server. |
Cards | For weather, now playing information, news and EPG, DAB cards are automatically generated and ready for broadcast. All cards have a standard format but can be customized according to your needs and preferences. Please consult the Cards documentation to find out how. |
